We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are committed to helping the youth of Dubuque (Iowa), Rochester (Indiana), Illinois!
Candidates for Rush volunteers are:
• University students
• Recent graduates
• Anyone who has played a sport!
• Anyone with a dedication to helping our youth learn and grow!
Rush Athletics USA aims to:
• Engage adults in their community by volunteering as a coach
• Enable former athletes to remain involved in their sport
• Enhance the community by providing local sport programs with knowledgeable and passionate assistant coaches
How it works:
• Volunteer coach and the RUSH organization will work out specific arrangements (i.e. location, hours, days of commitment)
• May volunteer in pairs or teams
• Flexible timing and hours determined on an individual basis (as little as 1 hour per week)
The Rush Athletics USA is a Amatuer Athletic Union (AAU). Illinois Rush is USA Track and Field (USATF) affiliated youth running club. Our volunteers are required to have both AAU and USATF memberships. Background checks are required.
USATF Background Check Process
All coaches and volunteers are required to submit to a background check. The fee is $8.00 per application. You cannot request a background screening without having a current USA Track & Field Membership Number.

AAU Background Check Process
MEMBERSHIP: Non- Athlete Application
You must purchase your membership first. However, your background screening is included in your membership fee - No Additional fee. Click on the link below to register for AAU membership and start your background check. (You will be required to set up an AAU account and create a user name and password to purchase individual memberships)
